Customer Notes

This location is a bit of a puzzle if you want to maximize the number of customers heading forward.

Customer 1 is the only one that will definitely send you backwards. Chances that the others will deliver you to either the Fire Station or the Tennis Court when chosen correctly are very high (though not quite 100% for the red ones).

Three signal customers will help you make the right decisions. As you head in to the drop-off zone, pay special attention to the colors of Customers 9, 10, and 5.

Now, here's the ideal way to empty this location:

  • STAGE 1 – Choose ALL of the following customers first:
    • 9 is yellow; 5 is red --> choose 3 or 7 to Fire Station
    • 10 is yellow; 5 is yellow --> choose 2 or 8 to Fire Station
    • 5 and 4 are both yellow --> choose 4 to Tennis Court
  • STAGE 2 – After you've chosen 2, 3, 4, 7, & 8:
    • 9 and 10 are both light-green --> choose 5 to Fire Station
  • STAGE 3 – After 5 has been chosen:
    • 9 is yellow --> choose 9 to Tennis Court
    • 10 is yellow --> choose 10 to Tennis Court
  • MISCELLANEOUS – Of the two remaining customers, 6 and 1:
    • 6 is yellow --> choose 6 to Tennis Court (okay to take any time it's yellow)
    • 1 is red --> 1 will always send you back to Bus Terminal
  • backwards customers
It's possible to be sent backwards by every customer here if you choose them poorly. Red customers will send you back to the Bus Terminal. Yellow and light-green ones will go to either Mall – West Gate or all the way Downtown.

Additional Notes...

  • Whatever you do, don't pick up Customers 5, 9, or 10 too early, as they are important indicators for so many others...
  • If you are unable to take a "forward-destinationed" Lookout Tower customer without messing up the order outlined in the three stages, I recommend either driving ahead to the Fire Station passengerless or choosing Customer 1 to go back to the Bus Terminal (but only if you're short on time or headed backwards anyway).
  • Quickly identifying the above patterns will enable you to stop your cab right next to Customer 2 or 3 when you drop off a passenger. After the drop-off, you'll immediately pick up the new customer headed for the Fire Station with no time loss. :)
  • If you fail to get a good look at Customers 9 and 10 when you drop off a passenger here, you should be able to catch a glimpse of them as the camera spins around during the drop-off animation.
  • The edge of Customer 1's pick-up circle runs very close to the phone booth. If you routinely use the booth to stop your cab here, be sure to strike it with the front-right bumper to ensure you don't have to make an unscheduled trip back to the Bus Terminal.
